Regardless of how I travel and the amount of bags I'm taking with me, these things will be among them:
- My crystals (selenite wand, selenite sphere, and many other various crystals)
- A laptop of some sort (could be my current one or a new one, personally hoping for a new one considering this one is over two years old)
- A tablet of some sort (I'm honestly hoping for the kind I can just draw on so that it's easier to take notes)
- My cellphone (I just hope I can afford the $80 per month it takes to pay for it)
- Pen, pencil, and paper. Lots of paper.
- Keys (to my house, my workplace, etc) and that's just in case I stop by for a few things, which is unlikely, but...it's necessary.
- At least two full sets of clothes to change into (including shirts, socks, underwear, pants, etc). One set of clothes will be casual (in addition to what I'll be wearing) and the other will be formal (a polo shirt and maybe khaki pants). And yes, I'll have a nice pair of shoes to go with the formal clothes.
- Food rations (most likely beef jerky and water)
- Camera/Recorder (I'll need to record some things in order to show you guys!)
- Solar-powered chargers (I'll DEFINITELY need things like this in order to keep my things charged on the go. Something that can charge a laptop and camera at once would be amazing)
- Toiletries (shampoo, soap, etc).
Now, if I'm only packing one bag, that will probably take up all of it. However, if I can pack two bags, then it will be separated like this: technology/food, and overnight things (clothes, etc).
Keep in mind I plan to currently be traveling by bike, so I'll probably only have one bag. However, if I have transportation of some sort, I'll be bringing two bags. Then again, if you want to know how efficient I can be, I only packed one bag to last me an entire week for a mission trip once (everyone else brought at least three, not to mention sleeping bags. I just used my jacket to keep warm). So, yes, I can be hardcore when it comes to surviving on one bag of things!
Have fun!

You may want to include "The Ten Essentials" here is a link about them: http://www.rei.com/expertadvice/articles/ten+essentials.html
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! I'll certainly add some of that to my list as well...though I don't know how I'd be able to add a tent right in if I'm only packing one bag, heh. But yeah, I'll definitely start putting in some more things!
DeleteTents can be strapped on to the bottom of a backpackers backpack.. Not sure what kind of bag your taking.. But if you don't take a tent, at least take a space blanket, they take little to no room and could save your life!! ^_^
DeleteI'm not sure if I'll take a tent or not, as I've already been thinking on what bag I have and I know by the time it's all packed with things it will weigh at least 20 pounds, but I'll see what I can do with that.
