Now on Wikia!

So, I decided a change was in order for this. Don't worry, I'll keep this place up for a little while longer, but now I'm migrating information to a new Wikia page! I think a lot of what I'm posting is just outgrowing this place, and I need something with more customization, while not being such a big burden on me. So, I figured, why not a wiki? They're very popular, and with the right thoughts and implementation, I can make a killer wiki! So, I'm moving this to a more manageable place. And yes, it even has a blog! More info after the jump!

Now Open to Donations!

So, now that it has come so close to start preparations, it has come to my attention that there are still quite a few things lacking. So, I suppose I should give you all a TL;DR before launching into a full explanation. Basically, I may be postponing things by a week or two before officially leaving, but I have given a chance to still make it a possibility that I can depart on time by opening up donations. The main reason is because it's just too short a time to get everything I will need just to get things going. Plus, I can make some money by working for my grandmother if I postpone a little bit of time. More information on this, after the jump.

My Past Lives

Alright, this will be a bit different than normal, and some people may not understand what I'm talking about. This is going to be a little bit about my past lives. I don't really have any other lives on Earth except this one, however, so things you hear about will be from other planets. Don't worry, some people will think I'm crazy with all of this, but I assure you, this is legitimate. If you're not interested, then you may want to sit this one out. I'm going to go into some things most people can't quite comprehend, but I'll try to explain it as much as possible so that at least someone will.

Meditation: The Foundation of Spirituality

I know many people have talked about and used meditation for many years, decades, centuries...and it has been the focal point of many tribes and cultures throughout history. Meditation is one of those things that have been a pivotal ability in order to gain much more of ourselves. I'm going to share with you all some experiences of my meditations, and even some personal insight as to why meditation has been important for me over the last few years.

Possible Locations

So, I need to know what you all think about where I should go. I need to start mapping out places before I start going places or else I'll not be able to keep track of things I want to do. So then...Here's a little time schedule of places I'd like to go to (or possible areas of interest) and at what times I want to be near there.

When I Pack Up...

So, this is more or less just a list I'll be compiling for when I can finally leave on my trip. It's a bit early to think on, but it's definitely needed in order to actually do much. Depending on how many bags I can take, I'll split up my things between them. Feel free to completely ignore this post, if you don't want to hear about things I'm packing.

Warp Speed!

I've noticed something in the last two weeks, and it seems very significant to me. I've played a game (Star Trek Online) a lot, and it's been very fun. From March 12 up until yesterday, I was playing just to get up to the level of Vice Admiral. However, it seems like it was only yesterday I was downloading the game, and now I'm already at the level cap. There are two things I must say to this: First, I've never reached the level cap in an MMO within a month before, and second, where did those weeks go?

True Freedom

I've heard many different thoughts on this one subject. What defines freedom? What even is freedom? Who is free, and how do you become free? I've had the privilege to look at this very subject on many different levels, from many different sources. So, I'll go ahead and tell a little of my research. Feel free to read on, if you're interested at all!

(Old Post) Beginnings

This is an old post I made on a site I was managing myself, but I've decided to move it here. It makes more sense to keep it all in one place.

There’s always something about new things. For example, I always love something new. Like this site. I made it brand new. Isn’t it lovely? But there’s more to it than just it being new, that makes it so amazing.

I could go on and on about how I love the feelings I get when I interact with something I haven’t used before. However, that has nothing to do with this particular subject. I want to say that, just as something new is the beginning of me trying to understand it for the first time, it is also a beginning of many things to come. This is my humble beginning at trying to explain things in the ways that I see them. This is my beginning, so that you may have your own beginning.

Starting Off

So, this is just a little something to get started with. I want to be able to go wherever I want, without worrying about how I can take care of myself, or how to pay off my accumulated debt from college. But it's not just for fun. I want to learn about other people, and how they have come to their own understanding. I truly wish to take a journey, much like what Jordan Duchnycz  has done. I want to take a journey to see what others are learning, and to share my own thoughts and insight as well.

Some people may think I'm being silly, or stupid, or any variation of those words, but it's all true. I don't know how else I can go through life, in all honesty. I can't picture another way of doing this, so I plan to quit college and look towards finding others that wish to share insight. Hell, I may even try to join Jordan on his journey. I truly wish to find a way of making this work somehow. I don't know how it may work, but I will find a way of making it work the best way I can.

It's not going to happen yet, however. I need to build up sources of cash reserves. This will most likely involve selling a lot of my things, probably most (if not all) of my computer equipment, not to mention my card collection (I play Magic: The Gathering, but I'm willing to give that up entirely just for this), and probably anything else that needs to be given up, but I am not sure what else I can give up. I can't really see myself in a professional career anymore, I used to entertain the idea of sitting behind a desk, but now I just want to explore life, and understanding others.

So I just have to bear through school until I'm done with it in May, and hope my mother doesn't completely freak out when I decide to tell her my plans. Is there anyone at all that thinks I'm making a good choice with this kind of thought? I'm seriously wondering what everyone is thinking.
